So when Josh Groban walked around at the concert, He touched my hand. Yeah I was excited.  It was such a great night with my wonderful husband!

Jason Rocks!

We went to the Josh Groban concert last night! (Thanks for babysitting Mom!) It was so amazing! We were in the center section on the floor in the very back row. We realized there was a second stage right behind us. So for part of the concert I was front row! (Except for the annoying people who ran up to the stage. Oh well) The first time he went to the stage I was so in shock that I didn't even realize what he was singing. The second time I got a few pictures. I didn't want to spend my time that close to him at his concert watching through a camera. It was such a nice night with my wonderful husband.

Don't Say It!

Lately our conversations with Harley go as follows:
Harley "Mom, Novalee is..."
Me "Are you tattleling I don't want to hear it"
Harley "No but she is doin....."
Me "I am not going to hear tattleling"
Harley (loudly) "Mom but she is..."
Me (louder) "Harley is she alive, are you alive are you hurt? No? I don't want to hear it"
Harley (loud and fast) "novalee took my doll and won't give it back"
Me (while she is talking) "I told you I don't want to hear tattleling"
Harley "You never wanted to have kids!" Followed by stomping down the stairs.

Harley "mom can I have this"
Me "no you can't have it"
Harley "I really want it"
Me " No Harley not right now"
Harley "You never wanted us!"

Harley has not learned how to not talk when we tell her not to and everytime I tell her no we apparently never wanted her! Luckily I love her and she's cute! (Well at 2 she was)

Now Hiring

A cleaning service who works for free. I will let you watch Netflix with me if time permits. They must have their own car because I will ask you to run to Charlie's for my Diet Coke w/ lime and a shot or two of vanilla. Also I want to take naps sometimes so you will have to be able to watch my kids for me too. I will let you do yard work if you can get my kids on a schedule. We do have an empty grave in my backyard to fill. Accepting applications/

So I am super tired but..........

I think I need to mention who I got to see today!! My wonderful, Grandpa!! He is such a great example to me and such a great person I don't think I can describe exactly how much he means to me,  if I could I would go and visit him all the time. I also got to see.............. my Aunt Nola!! I am so happy to see Granddad so happy. Its always nice to see family.   This picture is from last year but I didn't take pictures today. Bonus also BONNY IS HERE!! Did I mention I am tired and this doesn't seem to make sense?

May 2011

This month isn't over but thats okay. Its been a fun month. I turned 30! I feel so old. I am still adjusting to this new house. Its kind of funny but the thing that is the hardest is that it is a lot more work to clean since there are so many rooms it has been hard to adjust to a new cleaning routine. I am just a dork I guess. Axel got really sick this month for like a week with fevers that were around 104. We took him to the instacare and they just said that they didn't know what it was but if anything else happened to take him in to the ER. The next day his nose started bleeding and was walking really funny like into walls and stuff. We called and they told us to take him into the ER. We had gotten his fever under control but if we tried to take him off his medicine it would go back up. The ER told us we just had to let it run its course. That really stunk because we were scared of his high fevers. So after too much money spent in co pays, hours at the insta care and the ER we just basically did at home treatments.  Gunnar and I were exploring our new neighborhood but then it has been raining alot which is good but then we are stuck inside. I remember a few years ago when it rained non stop in May and June I think, our grass was so high that the girls were afraid to go and play in the backyard. I better go now. I got Axel to bed early (Yay skipped pm nap today) and the girls are downstairs probably fighting. Gunnar is asking me his password and I am hoping that tomorrow I can take pictures of the house if Jason will mow the yard (what he can for now). Crossing fingers.

April 2011

April was such a STRESSFUL month. We signed on the house on April 7. We had to wait until the next day to get the keys.  We started painting our house so we could have that done before we moved in but we discovered that our little house was really to small to pack. We had NO room to put boxes.  We took 3 weeks loading up our friends truck and our van and getting things over. I would not recommend that. I would do it in one day if I could. I had finals. I had a root canal. We had Easter. We are moved in and now our house is almost 3 times the size of the house we had been living in for 8 years.

March 2011

March was all about getting a house. Anyways the house I had orginally liked in November and the same one that we bid on but then didn't get it came up again. They called and asked if we wanted it and of course we did.  I was so stressed worried about little details, like about FHA inspections scared me to death! I was so worried it wouldn't pass and if it didn't then we would have to negotiate with the sellers to fix it. I could barely focus on anything. Well my focus was worse then normal.  
Jason ended up going to Las Vegas to help a friend move things out of his grandma's apartment after she passed away. It ended up being snowy and extremely scary. I couldn't sleep, I was without a car, and then when Jason called and said talk to him to stay awake while he was driving. I was so relieved to hear him since he was up for basically 24 hours I was also so scared for him. Luckily he made it home safe and we were out for the next day.
This picture is of Novalee when they had their formal dinner at school. They had to practice manners. Parents were invited but I was the only one that showed up so I took a picture and then I left. I kept getting dirty looks from her all night.

Feb 2011

Axel turned one. He has been such a fun baby. He is so active and is always always always getting into things. He wants to be one of the big kids and run around with them but he is too little. We did just cake and ice cream at our house with some family and friends and Axel was loved on by everyone. I wish I could do the video of him but for some reason its not loading.
 We also spent a lot of the month looking at houses. I hated it. We started at the cheapest houses and went up. It was such a stressful time we shopped around with different mortage companies. We had a miscommunication with someone who thought they were our relator. The house I wanted since November when I started looking at houses was on the more expensive side of our budget luckily it went down and we were able to afford it. We bid on it but they had another bid so they took the other bid since we bid so low. I was so mad but what could I do.

January 2011

So Harley's party was at Fat Cats Bowling, that was SO much fun. I wish all my kids would do it. It is a little bit more money but it was worth it. Not to mention that the kids were entertained the whole time and after the party we bowled with some friends there and we ended up with free food since the guy who was in charge of our party was still there and he hadn't totalled up our bill yet so we were getting food until he had done our bill. Also I have no idea why there are no pictures of Harley alone at her party. Maybe she didn't want to take one.

Finally December!!

I know its 6 months ago and all but I want to show something that happened. Just so we remember it. Of course it was busy with me and my finals and then the Christmas season. I was really sad this year since we couldn't put out all the decorations since our house and become increasingly small to us.  Not to mention Axel started walking during this month and was pulling everything down. Luckily we got to have a tree up. The girls got Nintendo DSI's and Gunnar got a talking bigfoot that does flips. Axel got an activity center which was perfect since he started walking a week before.  There was a huge snowstorm on the last day of school before Christmas break. I went to start the car to take Jason to work and I saw how deep the snow was and I wasn't sure I was going to be able to take him. I couldn't just have him take the car since I had to help with 2 parties that day so I had to hurry pack bags for the boys so we could spend the day at his school. Half of the kids made it to school. Most of the kids walk but the buses that do go to the school were late. I wonder if the kids just stood there at the stop until the buses came.  Some teachers weren't able to make it. Even though we were stuck at the school all day we had a lot of fun. There were treats brought in both classes that Gunnar had. The school fed us lunch and then there was hot chocolate for all the employees so Gunnar and I had hot chocolate too. Santa came to the school and brought a check that was donated by a local company with gift bags for the kids.
As you can tell my picture taking skills Christmas morning weren't that good. I only took one of each child but they are so horribly dark I can't tell if I got a picture of each of the 4 kids.
