October is always a fun month. With the pumpkin patches, the parties and of course Halloween we always have fun. Gunnar turned 5!! We had a party at Pirate Island and had a great time. The pictures didn't turn out good since our new camera we bought in Feb right before Axel was born broke and Jason tried to fix it which voided the warrenty. The kids were all super heros for Halloween. I don't know why I didn't take a picture of Novalee in her costume when it came in the mail but they all looked super cute. We had been looking forward to something called the Scarecrow Festival but they didn't have it for some reason so we took the kids out to a pumpkin patch it was fun but no where near as fun as the scarecrow festival. It was however soooo much cheaper. On our way home we went to Walmart to buy some fun Halloween treats since we were going to a friends house later that night for movies and they had a picture thing for How to Train Your Dragon which is one of Gunnar's favorite movies. As you can tell Novalee wasn't very happy. Trick or treating didn't involve pictures. We were kind of rained out so we only did a little last minute but we did pretend trick or treating with Logan and Julia and had a lot of fun with that.
