I do not have the motherly patience, I should have, in the middle of the night. Last night Novalee just kept screaming and screaming and she wouldn't stop because her throat hurt. I got her water and medicine and put a show on for her since she slept in our room but, that didn't work. She was so loud and I was so tired. I just kept saying, "Novalee stop crying, stop crying." Finally she stopped and said, "I want to wash my hands." so she went and washed her hands and went back to bed.

OH hun....I don't think very many parents are as patient as they think they should be with their crying child in the middle of the night. Don't be too hard on yourself. You are a wonderful mother:)
